Stray Bullet Nearly Hits Two Girls in Bucks Home: Report

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. – Two girls were reportedly nearly hit by a stray bullet that entered the bedroom of a Bristol home last Thursday.

Priscilla Hewlett told NBC10 the incident occurred last Thursday, September 26, around 9:15 p.m. at her home, where her 8-year-old daughter and 11-year-old niece were in the bedroom.

Hewlett said she ran into the bedroom and discovered the bullet hole in the wall.

Hewlett told NBC10 that she frantically called 911 and that police interviewed her family and inspected the crime scene.

“You told me [the bullet] came from the neighbor’s house,” Hewlett told NBC10.

Hewett said she received little information from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, which she said was in charge of the investigation.

Patch contacted the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Bristol Borough Police Department Thursday morning.
