Love Is Blind Season 7: Episodes 1-6 Recap

I hadn’t really noticed Hannah and Nick as a couple until she decided to break up with him. Although her decision seemed a bit hasty to me, I could respect that she had a gut feeling and went along with it. At least that’s what I thought. When she found out (seemingly immediately afterwards) that Brittany was also dating her top contact, Leo, regret dawned on her. I can understand that from a human perspective, but I didn’t expect her to actually turn the tables and run back to Nick. It felt just as strange as the projections she was directing at Nick, which seemed to stem from her own insecurities.

And if you ask me, Nick was stupid for taking her back. Also, I’m trying to find all the game everyone says Nick had in the pods. They portrayed him as a smooth speaker, but nothing he said got me going. I could also see him while he chatted, so I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt, I think. Overall, I’m not a fan of this couple. — Taryn

They called him a smooth talker so many times and I kept saying…but where? He said next to nothing the whole time. I had a hard time even seeing the connection between Hannah and Nick. Nick said he looked better than Travis Kelce and I yelled at my TV. You’d think people would learn not to compare themselves to celebrities after last season’s debacle, but I’m assuming this was taped before the previous season aired. Hannah quit her job to be on Love Is Blind and that immediately got me thinking. — Erin

I hate to do this, but Hannah is kind of this season’s Chelsea Blackwell, right? A chaotic tornado of emotions that I’m not entirely sure why she gets emotional in certain situations?

I’m assuming a lot of this is due to self-esteem issues, but I don’t think she’s necessarily in a place where she has to quit her job for love on this show at this point in her life to find.

Anyway, Hannah and Nick in the pods? Hmmm. Isn’t that why she initially left Nick? other people Did he feel like he was an f-boy? I think that’s all we really need to know. She cares more about how they are perceived as a couple than about what they could possibly be as a couple.

Also by the way, but Hannah’s style – she kind of reminds me of Jennifer Coolidge’s assistant from the last season of “White Lotus.” — Elyse

Elyse, I definitely made the Chelsea connection with Hannah. However, I think Hannah is a lot less annoying. At least so far. — Erin

Elyse, that is such an accurate analysis of Hannah in the capsules! To be honest, I didn’t see any real connection between her and Nick or her and Leo. It seemed like she was never sure about these relationships, and insecurities caused her to project a lot in the pods. I also see Chelsea having a meltdown after her behavior during the honeymoon. I have a sneaking feeling that Nick and Hannah will break up before they even get to the altar. — Njera

LOL I also searched for “Mr. Suave” in the pods and I’m not sure how other people came to the conclusion that he was a gamer or a smooth talker. I also definitely understand the connection between Chelsea and Hannah, but I’m not sure Hannah was quite as emotional. However, the self-esteem issues are very similar. Before she let Nick tease her, I felt like Hannah’s self-esteem issues would definitely block her blessing. But now I just don’t know if they’ll make it because she gets the crap and leaves out the pros and cons list. I just don’t know if she’s ready for marriage or if she even really likes him. – Taiyler
