1 person hospitalized after stabbing in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – One person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a stabbing on Kent Avenue in Pittsfield Tuesday evening.

At approximately 10:20 p.m., officers responded to the area of ​​Kent Avenue for a stabbing and a 30-year-old Pittsfield resident was taken to Berkshire Medical Center for a life-threatening stab wound.

In connection with this incident, a house was searched by police on Wednesday morning and a person of interest was identified.
