The director of the second season of Gyeongseong Creature talks about the historical theme and explains that it is not anti-Japanese

The director of Netflix Gyeongseong creatureChung Dong-yoon, expressed his surprise and gratitude at the global response to the drama series, especially from Japan.

He acknowledged the difficulties of crafting a narrative based on the harsh historical reality of Japanese military experiments during South Korea’s colonial period, when the country was under Japanese rule.
