Leasys UK launches accident management and fleet safety services

Leasys UK, a leading provider of multi-brand operational leasing, has partnered with FMG, the award-winning and leading UK provider of end-to-end incident management services, to offer incident management and fleet safety services to its corporate clients.

Available either as a combined service or individually, the new offerings are available to corporate fleet customers with 25 vehicles or more, expanding Leasys’ comprehensive fleet management solution.

Accident management

The new accident management service offers a complete end-to-end solution, including a full package of operational reports, optimized communications, the provision of emergency vehicles and fast and effective repairs. The service also works with self-insured fleets, allowing customers to maintain their insurance coverage and continue their existing insurance program.

With customer experience a key focus for Leasys, the comprehensive accident management service reduces the often time-consuming administrative burden for customers dealing with the consequences of accidents. Access to the Leasys driver helpline also makes it easier to report an accident without having to inform fleet managers, while customers can quickly and easily track the repair status of their vehicle or fleet via an online platform.

Fleet security

The new fleet safety service is designed to support customers with their health and safety and corporate social responsibility (CSR) requirements. It uses telematics technology to manage risks, improve driver safety and reduce the risk of accidents.

The service includes:

  • A comprehensive driver safety solution that provides fleet managers with a comprehensive picture of the safety of their vehicles.
  • An online platform with easy 24/7 access to driver and vehicle status data.
  • Tailored reports with detailed analysis of how drivers use their vehicles, including speed, braking, travel times and location.

Using data from the Fleet Safety service, customers can be informed in detail about which drivers and vehicles would benefit from switching to an electric vehicle (EV) as part of the service’s EV Suitability Module.

In addition, the Driver Behavior Monitoring, Intervention and Training feature provides prevention measures to reduce traffic risk and improve driver safety, allowing customers to track driver performance and provide training on any identified issues.

The service covers the full spectrum of fleet vehicles and can also be integrated with “gray fleet” vehicles (employee vehicles used for work purposes, excluding commuting), allowing customers to assess all of their vehicles as needed for CSR purposes .

Matthew Boswell, Managing Director of Leasys UK, commented: “We are pleased to launch our comprehensive new accident management and fleet safety services in collaboration with FMG, further expanding our offering to corporate customers.” With solutions designed to minimize risk and maximize safety and efficiency, the combined services Supporting customers with a tailored, convenient incident management approach to fleet safety.”

Dave Parry, commercial director of FMG, said, “We are pleased to support Leasys with this pioneering integrated solution that optimizes driver comfort and safety by combining two key components of the FMG offering: our accident management and risk mitigation services.
