1 dead, 1 injured after shooting in West Philadelphia resulted in car crashing into SEPTA bus, police say

A man was killed and another person was injured after a car crashed into a SEPTA bus in a shooting in West Philadelphia, police said.

The shooting and accident occurred just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of 40th and Brown streets in West Philly’s Mantua neighborhood

According to police, a shootout occurred between people in two vehicles and one of the cars crashed into a SEPTA bus.

One man was pronounced dead while another person was taken to hospital.

The motive for the shooting is currently unknown.
