Southern California man arrested for alleged sexual assault of young child

A Southern California man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a young child.

The suspect was identified as David Dionisio Wolfe, 29, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

On August 7, officers began investigating an allegation of sexual assault involving a child under 14 years old.

Authorities later determined that the boy had allegedly been sexually abused by Wolfe on multiple occasions.

Further details, including how the boy knew the suspect, were not released.

On September 24, Wolfe was arrested for lewd and lascivious acts with a child. He was booked into the High Desert Detention Center.

Investigators believe there may be other victims who have not yet come forward.
