Man killed in scooter accident on SLCC campus

TAYLORSVILLE – A man died in a scooter accident at Salt Lake Community College Wednesday evening.

The man was riding an electric scooter when he crashed into a light pole on the west side of the SLCC campus near 4600 S. 2200 West, Lt. Cameron Roden of the Utah Highway Patrol.

The scooter driver was the only person involved in the accident and died from his injuries. His name was not immediately released.
