RÜFÜS DU SOL announces special exhibition in Sydney Harbour

RÜFÜS DU SOL are celebrating their new album with a special Sydney show.

The Grammy-winning electronic trio have today announced a sunset show for Thursday, October 10, taking place on Sydney’s iconic harbour.

Tickets for the one-off event go on sale to the general public here on Friday October 4th at 10am AEST.

If you can’t make it to Sydney next week, you might be in luck: the group has started a mysterious countdown on their official website, hinting at the announcement of more live shows.

RÜFÜS DU SOL recently shared “Pressure,” another sample of it Inhale / exhale.

Hailed as “an instant new anthem amid the RÜFÜS discography,” “Pressure” is a defiant ode to the importance of perseverance. “You will never break me because I can withstand the pressure” Tyrone Lindqvist sings on the track.

“Pressure” follows previous album singles “Music Is Better,” “Lately” and “Break My Love.” Listen to the new single below.

The trio’s single drop comes after they received four nominations for the 2024 ARIA Awards. RÜFÜS DU SOL received awards for Best Group, Best Dance/Electronic Release (“Music Is Better”), Best Video (“Lately”) and Best Australian Live Act.

Inhale / exhale represents a new chapter for the trio, with the group describing this era as one of simply enjoying the process and creating in the moment. The album promises to explore the emotional highs and lows that have shaped their sound – love, heartbreak and everything in between – wrapped up in their signature blend of organic and electronic sounds.

The trio has been busy at festivals, getting the party started at Coachella in 2024 and hosting their boutique festival Sundream in Mexico. In 2025, they will take the stage as the only electronic headliners at all three South American editions of Lollapalooza.
