Sammy Guevara and female talent suffer gruesome injuries during ROH tapings

It’s a day of celebration for All Elite Wrestling as the big Dynamite anniversary show takes place tonight and a new media rights deal with Warner Brothers Discovery has finally reached the finish line, but the celebrations got off to an inauspicious start in Pittsburgh.

Sammy Guevara suffered a horrific injury during the Ring of Honor taping that took place before Dynamite. Pro wrestling correspondent John Clark is at the show at the Petersen Events Center and says the ROH Tag Team Champion caught a mid-air cutter during their match and landed very awkwardly.

The game was apparently stopped immediately so that doctors could examine Guevara.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp It was said that Sammy was put on a stretcher after he fell unconscious.

Unfortunately, this was the second scare of the night as a local talent was also put on a backboard after a mistake occurred in her match with Lady Frost, according to those in attendance.

We don’t yet know anything about the identity of the injured female talent. The Takedown wishes her and Sammy Guevara all the best.
