Butner public safety

On September 20, PSO JW arrested Aaron Cavaricci Serreau Edwards, 32, of Butner, on an outstanding warrant. Edwards was given a $1,500 secured bond by Magistrate CP Bostic and lodged in the Granville County Detention Center.

Sept. 22, Sgt. KM Rigsbee arrested Ulises Morones Amador, 42, of Graham and charged him with DUI and having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle. Amador was given a $1,000 secured bond by Magistrate RR Roberts Jr. and was lodged in the Granville County Detention Center.

On September 22, PSO MB Butler arrested 56-year-old Dwayne Keith Herndon of Butner on an outstanding warrant. Herndon was given a $3,000 secured bond by Magistrate RR Roberts Jr. and lodged in the Granville County Detention Center.

On September 23, PSO MB Butler arrested Charna Ruth Conway, 67, of Creedmoor on an outstanding warrant. Conway was given a $1,500 secured bond by Magistrate CF Knott and lodged in the Granville County Detention Center.

On September 24th, an attempted fraud occurred on Highway 56. The suspect attempted to make a purchase using a stolen credit card.

On September 25, PSO LT Wilson arrested Amanda Patrice Evans, 25, of Henderson, on an outstanding warrant. Evans was given a $1,000 secured bond by Magistrate CF Knott and lodged in the Granville County Detention Center.

On September 25, a hit-and-run accident was reported on Veazey Road. The victim’s vehicle was struck by the suspect’s vehicle as he left the scene.

Creedmoor Police Department

On April 7, 2024, a shoplifting incident was reported to Creedmoor Police.

On September 27, Ronnie Dale Parrish Jr., 40, was served with an arrest warrant by Creedmoor police. Parrish was taken to the Granville County Detention Center and placed under a $1,000 bond by Judge HG Herring.

Granville County Sheriff’s Office

On Sept. 25, Johnathan Lemount Florence, 52, of Wake Forest, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, $10,000 bail and possession of stolen property.

On Sept. 25, Christopher Billups, 31, of Greensboro, was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of a vehicle, habitation, place with controlled substance, possession of marijuana up to half an ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on bond amount of 27,000 US dollars.

On Sept. 25, Colton Oliphant, 27, of Roxboro, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat and was held on $16,000 bond.

On Sept. 26, Naeem Nasir Robinson, 32, of Oxford, was charged with fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana, driving while license suspended, driving while unimpaired, and reckless driving to endanger” and “damage to real property” charged with $40,000 bond, unsupervised probation violation with $318 bond.

Sept. 29: Ronald Elliott Powers, 20, of Franklinton, was held for Davidson County.

On Oct. 2, James Arthur Williams, 32, of Franklinton, was charged with assault on a female and injury to personal property. No bond amount was listed
