Family accuses truck owner of exploiting emotions after tragic landslide

The family of truck driver Arjun, who tragically died in the landslide at Shirur in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, has accused the vehicle owner Manaf of exploiting their grief for personal gain. They claim that Manaf collected funds under false pretenses.

During a press conference at their residence, Arjun’s family said that Manaf was initially supportive but is now using her emotional pain to seek financial contributions from various sources. According to her, Manaf wrongly portrayed her as destitute even though several family members were employed.

Arjun’s widow and other family members have tried to contact Manaf and ask him to stop spreading false information on his YouTube channel, but he has not responded. They warned of possible legal action if he does not stop his activities. Manaf responded, saying he was prepared to face severe consequences if he was found guilty of the charges.
