Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated in November to commemorate deceased loved ones.

Traditionally, families commemorate this date by building altars called ofrendas to honor and welcome back their deceased loved ones. The altars are often decorated with framed photos and favorite foods of the people being remembered.
