Revisit your Bears record prediction after a quarter of the season

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. All year long we ask questions of the most connected people Chicago Bears Fans and fans across the country. Register here to participate in weekly email surveys.

With their win against the Rams, the Chicago Bears finish the first quarter of the 2024 season with a record of .500, so this is a good time to revisit our preseason predictions.

Nine of us at WCG gave our season predictions in this roundtable series, and we all expected the Bears to finish the year with a winning record of either 9-8 or 10-7. I was in the latter group and after four games I see no reason to change that prediction.

Ten wins and a playoff push still seem possible, as there are still a few favorable matches on the schedule in the coming weeks. The NFC North will be an uphill battle to finish the season, but by then this offense should have an idea of what it does best and rookie Caleb Williams will have settled in.

Vote on where Chicago’s record finish will end in the Reacts poll below and also in our weekly Confidence Poll.

We will share your results in a few days!
