UMH PROPERTIES, INC. REPORTS THE EFFECTS OF THE HURRICANE

FREEHOLD, NJ, Oct. 2, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — UMH Properties, Inc. (NYSE: UMH) (TASE: UMH) today reported the impact of Hurricane Helene on its portfolio of manufactured home communities.

Samuel A. Landy, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented: “Our communities in Florida, Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia were exposed to strong winds and heavy rainfall, resulting in minor damage in these communities. Additionally, tree removal and other minor damage occurred in several of our communities in Tennessee and Ohio. The limited damage to our homes and our communities demonstrates the quality and longevity of our homes. Most importantly, all of our residents and staff are safe. We take appropriate action to clean up and repair minor damage in our communities. We do not expect the effects of the storm to have a material impact on our business or financial results. While our damage was minimal, others were not so lucky. We stand ready to provide assistance as requested by local, state and federal governments.”
