Mishawaka stabbing leaves woman hospitalized, suspect in custody – 95.3 MNC

A domestic dispute escalated into a stabbing.

It happened on Tuesday, October 1, around 9:45 p.m. in the 500 block of Hubbard Street in Mishawaka.

Upon arrival, officers found a 61-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. Mishawaka Fire Department paramedics quickly transported her to a local hospital, where she remains in stable condition.

The 61-year-old male suspect, who was still on scene, was taken into custody without incident. Police said the stabbing stemmed from an argument between the two and that a witness was present when authorities arrived.

Although the police believe that this is an isolated incident, the investigation is still ongoing.
