Zach Edwin leads Hasbro Entertainment’s unscripted television division

Hasbro Entertainment has hired Zach Edwin to oversee the growing slate of nonfiction and genre-based programming, as well as partnerships with talent, studios and distribution partners, including Lionsgate, in its new unscripted TV division.

Edwin, who will report to Gabriel Marano, head of Hasbro Entertainment TV, comes from Intellectual Property Corporation, part of Sony Pictures Television – Nonfiction, where he developed non-fiction series for various networks for over five years.

His credits include Max’s Selena + Chef, Netflix’s Emmy-nominated Indian Matchmaking, truTV’s Top Secret Videos with Ron Funches, Prime Video’s Pokemon: Trainer Tour, How To: Olympics” from YouTube Originals and “Mind Field” and additional projects for Discovery, National Geographic, Food Network and more.

He brings a wealth of experience in implementing large, unscripted projects for top partners. Hasbro’s unscripted division already has several projects in production and additional series in development with network partners, including the upcoming game show adaptations “Trivial Pursuit,” hosted by LeVar Burton, and “Scrabble,” hosted by Raven-Symoné – both of which are in the pipeline Development in partnership with Lionsgate.

Other upcoming projects include adaptations of Monopoly and Nerf, as well as the reimagining of Clue in collaboration with Sony Pictures Television Nonfiction.
