Scaremongering is back.

The classic comedy-horror series has been reimagined by Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions and will premiere this Friday (October 4) at 10pm ET/PT USA Network.

The episode will also be broadcast simultaneously around the world Bravo, SYFY And E!.

Here’s a synopsis of the plot: “This daring reboot will transform unsuspecting characters into the protagonists of their very own horror films, in a cinematic approach to the concept of the hidden camera.”

The series is hosted by Turn around“a ghostly teenager obsessed with horror films and fascinated by human fear.” With twisted joy, Flip creates horrific cinematic scenarios and casts real people in the leading roles.”

Each episode features the channel’s “devious pranksters who pit friends and family, so-called targets, in hilariously twisted scenarios that blur the lines of reality, horror and comedy.”

“From a casual dinner party that takes an unexpectedly cannibalistic turn to a pair of newlyweds who are the proud new parents of something… less than human, the subjects must make one unreal decision after another as the audience laughs, jumps and breathlessly longing for more.”

The show includes an appearance by WWE Superstars “The New Day” when a seemingly everyday promotional opportunity with Cody Rhodes turns into a terrible paranormal event.
