Edcouch Police Department has arrested Octavio Saavedra for alleged knife attacks on three people Buckhorn Grill early Sunday morning. Saavedra is at the door Three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and takes place on $750,000 bond.

Details of the incident

The violent altercation occurred at the popular Edcouch establishment over the weekend, leaving three people injured. The circumstances that led to the attack remain unclear and Edcouch police are working diligently to gather more information about the incident.

Juan Quintana from the Edcouch Police Department asked the community to provide any details that might help the investigation.

“If they can’t come to the police and give us a statement on this case, that would move the case forward a little bit,” Quintana said.

Suspect in custody

Saavedra was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with three counts aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently being held at the local detention center $750,000 bond.
