One person arrested in connection with stabbing in Wright County

(KNSI) – One person has been arrested in connection with a stabbing Tuesday night in Wright County.

According to a news release, police were called to a home in Cokato Township just before 9:15 a.m. for a report of an assault. When they arrived, they discovered that someone inside the house had stabbed a man in the neck. He was flown to North Memorial Hospital for treatment. Witness statements and evidence collected at the crime scene led authorities to the 24-year-old suspect.

He is in the Wright County Jail and is expected to be charged with second-degree assault and violating a protective order.
