Fire in Chicago: Man found dead in Marquette Park home, Chicago says

CHICAGO (WLS) – A man was found dead in the southwest of the city on Wednesday.

Chicago firefighters initially responded to a fire in the 2400 block of West 69th Street and Artesian Avenue.

It is not known when and how the fire broke out. The Chicago Fire Department responded around 7:30 a.m

The Chicago Fire Department later confirmed that a man was found dead at the scene. However, fire officials said it was not a fire death.

Chicago police will continue the investigation.
