Over 100 people are suing Sean “Diddy” Combs for sexual assault

More than 100 alleged victims will file a lawsuit against rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs and others alleging rape, sexual assault and sexual exploitation, a U.S. attorney announced Tuesday.

“This is a significant case that we will pursue vigorously,” said Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee. “We will thoroughly investigate and hold accountable any individuals or organizations that participated in or benefited from this egregious behavior.”

This lawsuit follows Combs’ indictment last month on three criminal charges accusing him of sexually abusing women and coercing them into drug-fueled sex parties using threats and violence.

Allegations against Combs have increased since last year, when singer Cassie, née Casandra Ventura, alleged Combs abused her for over a decade, including physical coercion, drug use and a rape in 2018.

Later lawsuits painted a similar picture of Combs as a violent figure who used his fame to bully women.

Combs pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges and remains in prison awaiting trial.
