Stephen Nedoroscik’s DWTS partner Rylee Arnold has been bailed out by the latest DWTS update amid injury scares

Stephen Nedoroscik was all business as he delved into the details of his latest dance performance. “This dance was just so different. I had to be serious, I had to be stiff, I had to stick my hips out.” he said, sounding more like a dance pro than a double bronze Olympic gymnast. One could almost forget that just a few weeks ago the pommel horse specialist was nervous when he stepped onto the dance floor. But his previous performances on Season 33 of “Dancing With the Stars” have been a real showstopper.

Nedoroscik admitted early on that he relied heavily on his dance partner Rylee Arnold to find his groove. And despite the challenge of tackling the ballroom floor rather than the balance beam, he is confident he can secure the Mirrorball trophy. But then there was a drama. Rylee suffered an injury during training and suddenly her future on the show seemed uncertain. As fans began to worry about what this meant for their run, a lifeline appeared just in time!

According to Entertainment Weekly’s updates, CBS will not be airing Dancing With the Stars this week, but the starry ballroom will shine again with double episodes on the 7th (Monday) and 8th (Tuesday) at its usual time. Monday’s show will be pre-recorded and will focus on Soul Train Night with no eliminations, while Tuesday will feature a live hair metal night with eliminations. The exact number of participants that will be cut remains a mystery, but someone is bound to drop out. This schedule change appears to have given Rylee Arnold a breather. But why?

She recently shared on Snapchat that she sprained her ankle during rehearsal, posting: “I sustained a minor injury at rehearsal last night, so I started my day by heading to practice.” But she assured fans that she is doing everything she can to heal, saying: “I’m going to do everything I can over the next few weeks to really make sure that this doesn’t happen again so it doesn’t get any worse.” With the vice presidential debate taking priority on CBS, Arnold now has a few extra days to rest and recover. As for her partner Stephen Nedoroscik, he may have to embrace his new title – courtesy of Arnold!
