The criminal case against Nyrstar NV was dismissed by the Council Chamber of the French-speaking Court of First Instance in Brussels

Nyrstar NV (the “Company”) was informed today that the Council Chamber of the French-speaking Court of First Instance in Brussels decided on October 1, 2024 to exclude the Company from prosecution in one of the criminal investigations in which it is involved.

This decision, which is still subject to appeal, was made as part of the judicial investigation in Brussels launched in 2019 following a civil lawsuit brought by one party.

The company continues to offer its full cooperation in criminal investigations in Mechelen and Antwerp.
