Shawn Michaels further explained the relationship between WWE NXT and TNA.

Throughout 2024, several top TNA stars, including Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry and Zachary Wentz, made multiple appearances and appeared prominently on weekly TV and premium live events, while several members of the NXT roster also appeared on Impact -Records occurred.

With the partnership seemingly set to continue for the foreseeable future, some have speculated as to whether WWE will bring back the Worlds Collide event to further the talent exchange storylines. Previous editions of the show have pitted NXT stars against either talent from the main roster or wrestlers from NXT UK. The 2022 event saw both brands’ championships unified when NXT UK folded.

Knockouts champion Jordynne Grace has previously stated that a super show featuring the stars of both brands would be a dream scenario for her and the fans and remains hopeful that it can become a reality. When talking about the potential of the event The wrestler wrestling show, Michaels explained that it’s certainly possible, just not anytime soon:

Well, of course I think those things are possible (big blow-off match or Worlds Collide event with TNA), but I have to say, I’m looking at it and hoping it’s a long-term relationship. In my personal opinion, I sometimes feel that if you deal with such things too early, now that you’ve been through it, where do you go from there? At the moment we are enjoying this partnership.

I think we’re seeing completely different duels than we thought we’d see here in just a short space of time. Obviously I’m excited about the future, excited about this relationship. I will say that nothing is ever off the table here in WWE. Definitely in NXT. But I think, you know, we want to go slower instead of faster.
