The Rocky Horror Show is getting its own video game for Halloween and for some reason it’s a retro 2D platformer

A confession: I’m one of those people who just doesn’t understand The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Don’t get me wrong – I can enjoy Tim Curry being sexually confusing in his prime as much as the next full-blooded human being, but as a musical it feels like an awful lot of running around just for a decent song to produce.

But maybe now I’ll finally be able to translate it into video game form, the only medium I know anything about. That’s right, we’re getting a Rocky Horror game – very soon, as the trailer promises a release in October 2024. Just in time for Halloween!
