A man was stabbed to death in his North Jackson home

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A man was stabbed to death at a home in Jackson early Wednesday morning.

The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. on Newman Avenue.

Jackson police responded to the scene and said the man was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The motive for the stabbing is currently unknown and the identity of the victim has not been released.

There is also no information about a possible suspect.
