Man injured after stabbing in Providence

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island (WLNE) – A man was injured Sunday evening after he was reportedly stabbed.

It happened on Miller Avenue around 10 p.m.

Police said when they spoke with witnesses, they learned that the victim and suspect worked together to produce music on the side and that the assault was over money owed.

The victim suffered stab wounds to the neck and arm but is now stable at Rhode Island Hospital.

Police said the suspect fled the scene.

The incident is under investigation.
