D.C. police are asking for help identifying suspects in the Potomac Avenue shooting

Washington, D.C – Investigators are actively searching for suspects involved in a shooting in the Southeast.

On Saturday, September 28, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the unit block of Potomac Avenue in Southeast. Upon arrival, they located an adult female with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds who was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspects were captured on nearby surveillance cameras and the images are available for public viewing.

Authorities are asking anyone who can identify these suspects or has information about the incident to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text the department’s TEXT-TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for violent crimes in the District of Columbia.

    On Thursday, September 26, officers arrested Craig Wilson, 64, of Northwest, DC, pursuant to a DC Superior Court warrant. He is charged with 23 counts of second-degree larceny for several incidents listed below.

    The thefts occurred at various CVS locations from June to September, with $672.31 and $600 worth of merchandise stolen, among other items.

    The Metropolitan Police Department emphasizes its commitment to preventing thefts in community facilities and holding offenders accountable. Anyone who witnesses a retail theft in progress is advised not to intervene but to call 911.
