Police: Pittsfield man attacked family member

A Pittsfield man is facing assault, weapons and drug charges following a domestic incident.

Teige Harden, 34, is accused of assaulting a family member. When officers arrested him, he had around 106 grams of cocaine in his pocket.

According to police, Harden has a lengthy criminal history in Virginia dating from 2008 to 2021.

He was charged in Central Berkshire District Court on Monday and remanded in custody pending a dangerousness hearing.
