Sean “Diddy” Combs will face 120 accusers over alleged sexual misconduct, lawyer says

HOUSTON – Texas attorney Tony Buzbee said Tuesday he represents 120 accusers who have brought new allegations of sexual misconduct against Sean “Diddy” Combs, the hip-hop mogul awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.

Buzbee, of Houston, said he expects lawsuits to be filed within the next month. Buzbee described that the victims were 60 men and 60 women and that 25 were minors at the time of the alleged misconduct.

“It’s shocking. Our youngest victim was nine years old at the time of the incident. We have one person who was 14 years old,” Buzbee said at a news conference Tuesday. “The conduct in question spans from 1991 to this year, 2024. If you are wondering why there are so many alleged victims, this is your answer. We’re talking more than 25 years of this kind of behavior.”

Buzbee said most of the alleged events and incidents occurred at parties, “usually after parties or album release parties, New Year’s Eve parties, Fourth of July parties, something they call ‘Puppy Party’ or ‘All White Party.’ “

“Some of these behaviors occurred at well-known venues in New York City,” Buzbee said. “Some of this behavior occurred in the private homes of people we all know. Some of these behaviors occurred in hotels that we all know about. You should know that more than 55% of the victims who reported this behavior reported this behavior either to the other authorities, that is, the police or to hospitals.”

After the news conference in Texas, a lawyer for Combs said the performer “cannot address every unfounded accusation in what has become a ruthless media circus.”

“Nevertheless, Mr. Combs strongly and categorically denies as false and defamatory any allegation that he sexually abused anyone, including minors,” attorney Erica Wolff said in a statement. “He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court as lawsuits are filed and served, with the truth determined based on evidence rather than speculation.”

Combs, 54, has been incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since pleading not guilty on September 17 to charges of using his “power and prestige” to entice female victims into drugged, elaborately staged sexual performances to move sex workers with men at events called “Freak Offs.”

Buzbee also represented women who accused NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual assault.

Other alleged victims have already done so Lawsuits filed against Combs, which include allegations of sexual assault.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to federal racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. His lawyer said he was innocent and would fight to clear his name. Combs takes place in tThe Federal Penitentiary Center in Brooklyn until his trial.

Combs is one of hip-hop’s most well-known music managers, producers and performers. He has won three Grammys and collaborated with artists such as Notorious BIG, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Lil Kim, Faith Evans and 112. He founded Bad Boy Records in 1993, the influential fashion brand Sean John, a vodka brand and the television channel Revolt.
