During the debate, Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance was fact-checked regarding his and Trump’s claims about Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio baselessly accused of eating her neighbors’ pets.

After pointing out that “millions of illegal immigrants” would be imported, a presenter noted that most of them in Springfield were legal U.S. residents.

Vance wasn’t happy and kept talking. The candidates’ microphones were muted.
