Harris vs. Trump: Who is currently winning the 2024 election?

A recently released set of political polls confirmed what many Americans already knew: November’s election will be a close one between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump.

Who wins the White House could depend on how swing states cast their votes.

The latest polls from 270toWin show Trump with a slight advantage over Harris in many swing states. However, Harris is ahead of Trump in national polls.

Experts are already predicting that the country may not have an elected president on election night, especially as swing states adopt new or amended state laws governing how Americans vote, count and administer and certify ballots Election in November.

For example, both Georgia and Arizona will require poll workers to conduct hand counts at polling stations on Election Day. Election officials say that could delay the announcement of results.

  • Emerson College: Trump (48%), Harris (48%)
  • AARP: Harris (50%), Trump (47%). Another poll had Harris at 49% and Trump at 47%.

Arizona polls:

North Carolina polls:

  • Quinnipiac: Trump (49%), Harris (48%). Another poll had Trump at 49% and Harris at 47%.

  • InsiderAdvantage: Trump (50%), Harris (49%)
  • Washington Post: Trump (50%), Harris (48%).

  • Quinnipiac: Trump (50%), Harris (45%). Another poll had Trump at 50% and Harris at 44%.
