Rich Homie Quan’s Tragic Cause of Death Revealed

According to a TMZ report, rich homie Quan has died of a drug overdose, with the cause of death determined to be accidental overdose. The Fulton County coroner in Georgia ruled his death an accident after several substances, including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine and promethazine, were found in the rapper’s body. When police discovered his body, there were no signs of trauma.

Speculation about a drug-related death was circulating after his friend, Boosie Badazz, appeared on In a previously released 911 call, Quan’s girlfriend, Amber Williams, was captured telling dispatchers that she “didn’t feel a heartbeat” and he was unconscious. Through tears, she said, “When I turned him over, he was kind of foaming at the mouth.” Quan was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics arrived. The rapper died on September 5th at the age of 34.

According to Williams, Quan slept on the couch before taking her son to school. When she returned, she found him cold and unresponsive, prompting her to call 911. The police report confirmed that no crime was committed, and Williams stated that Quan had no known health problems.

Following the news, tributes poured in on social media. Adam22 shared a picture with Quan and captioned it, “RIP Rich Homie Quan,” while Lil’ Kim wrote, “I’m so heartbroken. No one ever understood what a stupid friendship you and I had.”

Quan has been open about his addiction issues, once admitting on a podcast that he consumed Molly on a daily basis. Although he had previously stated that he “wouldn’t go out like that,” his cause of death was revealed to be an accidental overdose. These involved fentanyl and other substances. In his final days, Quan posted cryptic posts that hinted at personal problems. His estate recently released the music video for his posthumous song “Song Cry.” The video shows footage from his memorial service, which took place on September 17th.
