Overland Park, Shawnee Police respond to a barricaded person in the area of ​​88th & Melrose

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – The Overland Park and Shawnee police departments are working together to respond to a crime that occurred in Shawnee on Tuesday.

Overland Park police said a person was barricaded inside a home in the area of ​​88th Terrace and Melrose Street in Overland Park.

Police said residents should avoid the area if possible.
