Sandy police are searching for a man who fired a shot during a suspected road rage incident

Sandy police are asking for help finding a man suspected of firing a shot during a road rage incident.

On Sunday, September 8, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a motorcyclist was involved in what Sandy police said was a traffic violence incident on 1300 East, near 9400 South.

The victim fled from the suspect, but the motorcyclist pursued the victim.

As the victim turned onto Buttercup Drive, the motorcyclist allegedly stopped his motorcycle, grabbed a handgun from one of his saddlebags and fired one bullet at the victim, Sandy police said.
