New Braunfels Police Ask for Tips After Two Shootings in Applebee’s Parking Lot; ,000 reward

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – The New Braunfels Police Department and Comal County Crime Stoppers are appealing for information about a shooting involving two victims in the parking lot of an Applebee’s.

The shooting happened around 12:20 a.m. Tuesday on the 900 block of I-35 North Front Road.

According to Crime Stoppers, NBPD officers were the first to arrive at the Applebee’s parking lot where they found two victims in a vehicle. A 19-year-old man from New Braunfels and a 20-year-old woman from Comal County both suffered gunshot wounds. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate a suspect.

Both victims were transported to Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio. Both victims are currently still in hospital. The woman is in stable condition and the man is in critical but stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to contact New Braunfels police or Comal County Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $4,000 for information leading to an arrest and/or grand jury indictment.
