ShackStream: The Stevetendo Show! Episode 505

Dragon Quest XI is the star of the Stevetendo show tonight!

Tonight on the Stevetendo Show we return to the Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age playthrough. Dragon Quest XI feels like one of the longer RPGs I’ve ever played, and I’m having a lot of fun with it. I know encounters in games like this can be tedious, but I try to get through them as quickly as possible. During the final playthrough of Dragon Quest, we explored more of the open sea and made our way to the town of Sniflheim. It is very cold in this place and the city seems to be frozen over.

Tonight we’ll explore Sniflheim and see why there’s no one around. I have to say that I really care about the characters and it will be interesting to see how the story continues. It will be released at 5:00 p.m. PT/8:00 p.m. ET. Join the Stevetendo Show to learn more about our Dragon Quest XI playthrough.

Shackers who want to join in the fun can visit the Shacknews Twitch channel where you can catch the Stevetendo Show every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you can’t make it tonight, you can watch the show Wednesday night at 5:00 PM PT/8:00 PM ET. Coming soon to the show will be more installments of our Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword playthrough, as well as a brand new playthrough starting on Monday as we finish Limbo. I really enjoyed Limbo, but the secret level at the end of the game was one of the more difficult secret levels I’ve ever done. That being said, the show is fast-paced and you shouldn’t miss it.

It’s October and that means it’s time for spooky things like scary video games on the Stevetendo Show. Limbo was the tip of the scary iceberg, as I have other games that could be used to scare the loyal Stevetendo Show viewer. I’m still undecided on whether I’ll change the scary games lineup, so stay tuned.

Keep thinking of new games that you would like to see on the Stevetendo Show. If it runs on the Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Online service, there is a great chance of being played in the program. You never know when Nintendo will add something to the Nintendo Switch Online service, so stay tuned.
