Jeremy Bryant, 42, was sentenced to life in prison, according to a news release from the Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office.

Randall Keith Head was reported missing on April 27, 2020. He was last seen driving his red Chevrolet Cruze. Three days later, Head’s body was found behind a closed business on Mercer University Drive by two Macon Water Authority employees. He died from multiple stab wounds to the neck.

Evidence presented in court showed that Bryant was seen on hotel surveillance video parking Head’s car on April 26, 2020, before taking it to a hospital the next day. Head and Bryant had planned a drug transaction and Bryant was the last person to have contact with Head. A tip from Crimestoppers helped investigators locate Bryant and he was arrested.

“The Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office particularly thanks the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office for their work in investigating this case and assisting in the prosecution,” the release said.
