Police respond to an accident in downtown Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Police responded to a crash near 9th Street and O Street on Tuesday at 3:34 p.m

According to LPD, an eastbound vehicle crossed the center line and struck a westbound vehicle. Another car waiting to turn left onto 9th Street was also struck.

Two vehicles were pushed up to the sidewalks on the north and south sides of O Street. The accident blocked traffic on O Street between 9th and 10th streets for about an hour.

According to LPD, one person was transported with non-life-threatening injuries. LPD reported no damage to the nearby hotel or sidewalks.

It’s unclear if anyone will be charged in the multi-vehicle collision.
