BATAVIA POLICE BLOTTER/Batavia man charged with aggravated assault and robbery after altercation – Video News Service

On 09/22/2024, Matthew R. Taylor, 41, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Assault 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree and Menacing 3rd Degree. It is alleged that Taylor was involved in an altercation with another person on East Main Street in which he demanded money and seriously injured the other person. Taylor was arraigned in Batavia Municipal Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

On 09/21/2024, Christina L. Riley, 36, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery 3rd Degree, Grand Theft 4th Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Harassment 2nd Degree. Riley allegedly got into a physical argument with another person and attempted to steal her cell phone while several children were present. Riley was arraigned in CAP court and released. She is scheduled to be heard in Batavia Municipal Court on October 1, 2024.

On 09/22/2024, Michael J. Holler, 38, of Rochester, NY, was arrested on a warrant. Holler was first arrested on September 18, 2024 for petty theft. The arrest warrant was issued after he failed to appear in court. He was arraigned in CAP court and released. He is scheduled to be heard in Batavia Municipal Court on October 3, 2024.

On 09/22/2024, Gracien R. Ibambasi, 30, of Batavia, NY was arrested and charged with third degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child. It is alleged that Ibambasi threatened another person in the presence of two children. He was arraigned in Batavia Municipal Court and released. He must appear in court again on September 26, 2024.

On 09/14/2024, Phillip P. Heale, 46, and Jessica D. Delcour, 41, both of Batavia, NY, were arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. It is alleged Heale and Delcour stole goods from Aldi. As part of the investigation, it was determined that Heal and Delcour had also stolen from the store on August 9, 2024. Both were charged with an additional count of petty theft for this incident. Both have been issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Batavia Municipal Court on September 24, 2024.

On 09/20/2024, Jennifer A. Schellerer, 38, of Batavia, NY, and Dennis J. Williamson, 42, of Rome, NY, were each arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Police were called to the Mobil gas station on East Main Street for reports of two people passed out in a vehicle. During the investigation, it was allegedly discovered that Schellerer and Williamson were in possession of crack cocaine. Williamson was also charged with Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree for allegedly possessing a stolen license plate. He also faces several vehicle and traffic violations. Both have been issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Batavia Municipal Court on October 1, 2024.

On 09/17/2024, Patrick O. Spikes, 43, of Batavia, NY was arrested and charged with Second Degree Harassment. It is alleged that Spikes struck another person during an argument on Central Avenue. He was issued an appearance ticket and is required to appear in court on October 1, 2024.

On 09/13/2024, Jennifer L. Stack, 38, of Batavia, NY was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. The arrest warrant was issued after a traffic stop on January 18, 2024 revealed that Stack was allegedly in possession of crack cocaine. She was arraigned in CAP court and released.
