The search for the missing Kildare man has been called off after a tragic discovery

The search for a missing Kildare man has been called off after a body was found on Tuesday.

Nikita Shilokovskiy, 27, has been missing from his home in Naas, County Kildare since Monday, September 30.

A search was launched after gardai and his family expressed concern for his welfare.

A Garda spokesman confirmed this evening that the search has now been suspended following the discovery of a body, writing; “Following the discovery of a body today, the missing person application has been withdrawn for Nikita Shilokovskiy, who has been reported missing from his home in Naas, County Kildare since Monday 30 September 2024.”
