Two men injured in truck crash near Mansfield

Mansfield, MO. – Two men were injured in an accident that occurred near Mansfield this morning.

Trooper Johnson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G, says this accident occurred at 1:20 a.m. this morning and involved a Chevy Silverado driven by Lucas Buckmaster, a 27-year-old Fordland resident.

The vehicle left the right side of the road and rolled onto its side. Buckmaster was seriously injured and a passenger, John Amant, 33, of Ozark, suffered moderate injuries.

Both were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for further treatment, with an air ambulance being called for Buckmaster. None of them were wearing safety devices.
