Boston Common stabbing under investigation – NBC Boston

A man was stabbed to death on Boston Common Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred around 8:20 a.m. at Brewer Fountain near Park and Tremont streets.

According to Boston police, the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.

Recent violent incidents on the Common, a popular tourist destination and central point of the city, are causing embarrassment to those who live and work nearby. Last month, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu said ensuring the safety of the popular tourist destination remained a priority.
