Seven people were reported injured in a suspected terrorist attack in Tel Aviv

TEL AVIV — At least seven people were injured in Tel Aviv, Israel, on Tuesday evening, according to a statement from the Israeli Police Spokesperson’s Unit.

The authorities suspect terror as the motive for the incident.

Two people were in critical condition, two in moderate condition and one with minor injuries, the Israel Emergency Services spokesman said in an updated statement.

The shooting occurred on Yerushalayim Street in Tel Aviv.

The shooting occurred shortly before a large missile was launched from Iran into Israel. About 250 rockets were to be fired at four targets in Israel, including central Israel, according to a senior US government official.
