Similar to its main characters The privateers Conquer the Apple TV+ scene with flash and passion. We fell in love with the Sisters of St. George and longed to find them romance and (more importantly) true happiness by any means possible. We embraced every girl in all her messy, shocking, Period drama Fame. We watched until the end and were desperate for more! And after the popularity of the first season, it’s no wonder the network has renewed this dreamy show for a second season.

Just Apple announced that Leighton Meester will be joining the cast! Josie Totah, Imogen Waterhouse, Barney Fishwick, Aubri Ibrag, Guy Remmers, Kristine Frøseth, Josh Dylan, Mia Threapleton and Alisha Boe will reprise their roles! If you need a refresher, here’s who they’re playing:

The privateers SSeason 2 is officially in production, but there’s no word on a premiere date yet! What we do know is that Apple TV has shared this exciting BTS clip of our new favorite Regency-era stars having the time of their lives. It’s just the push we need to get through another week!

We shouldn’t be under so much pressure to discover Easter eggs about Season 2 of The privateersbut we are! Luckily, Kristine Frøseth revealed how she differs from her character Nan St. George and what viewers can expect.

Although Nan is often seen in corsets, Kristine prefers a more casual look. “She’s very limited,” the actress said of her character (via People).

What awaits her this season, Kristine didn’t reveal the plot of the second season (sorry, fans). However, she said the characters won’t be as close to each other as they were in Season 1: “I think our characters are just a little further apart so we don’t see each other as much. Last time we all lived in the same building and it felt like college, and now our storylines are a little more spread out… I think that’s the biggest change.”

Viewers watch as Nan St. George takes a step back so that her sister Jinny has a chance at happiness. As a result, she is able to move forward with her marriage to Theo, Duke of Tintagel, but it appears that she is closer to her birth mother than she realized. Our other characters – like Mabel and Honoria – also have to decide how they want to live their lives.

It was a shocking cliffhanger and we can understand why fans are thirsting for more.

How does Katherine Jakeways feel about renewing the series?

We had the opportunity to speak to the series creator Katherine Jakeways,and she shared her excitement about creating such a compelling new period drama. Now this The privateers will be renewed for another season, she said Apple TV+“We know Season 1 viewers were desperate to know what happens next to our Buccaneers, so I’m excited for the opportunity to explore the continued adventures of this smart, cheerful and chaotic sisterhood.”
