AEW star Killswitch, also known as Luchosaurus, has been on oxygen ever since and was reportedly just days away from suffering permanent lung damage.

His recovery is expected to take at least a month and it is unclear when he will be able to return to the ring.

British YouTuber and wrestler Simon Miller wished him well, saying, “Man, all the best to Luchasaurus.”

“Always such a good guy (dinosaur) when I met him. I send him positive thoughts and a speedy recovery.”

While former AEW teammate Marko Stunt wrote: “Whatever
@luchasaurus is what’s going on in his head right now, I dunno.

“But I will never forget how many times he stood up for me, both in and out of the ring. He really cared about me and protected me.”

Killswitch, whose real name is Austin Matelson, has only appeared in eight games this year.
