Beyoncé brings back the ’80s in her latest collaboration with Levi’s, reinterpreting an iconic denim ad with her own twist. In the ad, Queen Bey strolls into a laundromat with a bucket full of diamonds and Levi’s Premium 501 women’s jeans. After finding an open washing machine, she casually strips off her white boyshorts and a white t-shirt, then sits down to wait for her laundry to finish. It’s effortlessly cool – and we’re here for it!

In other entertainment news, Naomi Campbell has denied rumors of tensions with Rihanna. According to The Source, speculation was rife on social media after Rihanna seemingly walked past Naomi and celebrity stylist Law Roach without recognition at the Alaïa fashion show in New York. But Naomi dispelled the rumors in an interview with The New York Times, stating: “I will not let the world pit two black women against each other. We are two women, mothers and we have children.”

Finally, the sports world is mourning the loss of NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo, who died at the age of 58 after a battle with brain cancer. The Hall of Famer and humanitarian left an indelible mark on and off the field, especially in his home country, the Democratic Republic of Congo. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver acknowledged his legacy, saying, “Dikembe was simply larger than life and used the game of basketball to have a positive impact on communities around the world.” Our thoughts are with the Mutombo family.
