Motorcyclist seriously injured in dump truck accident in Peoria

PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) – One person suffered serious injuries after crashing their motorcycle into a dump truck in Peoria early Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to the crash near Thunderbird Road and 91st Avenue around 6 a.m.

A motorcyclist was found with serious injuries and taken to hospital.

The road will be partially closed as police continue their investigation. Thunderbird Road is closed at the Loop 101 intersection.

It is currently unknown if speed or impairment were factors in the accident.
