Paratroopers from the Mykolaiv-based brigade repelled a large-scale Russian attack on the Kurakhove Front, destroying 19 units of Russian armored vehicles.

Details: It is noted that the Russians sent 11 armored fighting vehicles with infantry support and 8 tanks into battle to break through the defenses of the 79th Brigade near the village of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast.

These equipment convoys immediately encountered strong resistance from the paratroopers of the 79th Brigade.

Thanks to the coordinated combat work of the Ukrainian units, they managed to destroy four tanks and two armored vehicles with the Russians inside.

According to reports, 23 Russian soldiers were killed in this attack. In addition, 23 other injuries were sustained.
